Nations System

Quick overview of the Nations system for creating and managing territory on the Fragether server.

🏰 What is a Nation?

A nation is a group of players who work together to claim and manage territory. Nations allow you to:

  • Build together with friends and allies
  • Protect your land from griefing
  • Create plots for individual members
  • Establish your own community within the server

🚀 Quick Start

Create Your Nation

/nation create <name> <color>

Example: /nation create MyNation blue

Available Colors: white, orange, magenta, light_blue, yellow, lime, pink, gray, light_gray, cyan, purple, blue, brown, green, red, black

Claim Land & Create Plots

/claim land # Claim land for your nation (LEADER/MANAGER only) /nation plot create # Create plots in claimed land (LEADER/MANAGER only) /claim plot # Claim a plot for yourself

🗺️ Map Legend

When you use /nation, you'll see a map of claimed land based on the direction you're looking:

  • # = Wilderness - Unclaimed land (light gray)
  • [Color]# = Nation land - Territory claimed by a nation
  • $ = Available plot - Plot chunk that no one has claimed (light green)
  • [Color]$ = Taken plot - Plot chunk that has been claimed
  • @ = Your location - Where you are standing

🏠 Plot System

Plots are individual building areas within your nation where members can build freely.

Plot Limits:

  • Base: 2 plots per player
  • Bonus: +1 plot per additional nation member
  • Maximum: 10 plots per player

Restricted Blocks (require special permissions):

  • Redstone components, mechanical blocks, storage, doors
  • Plot Owners: Full access on their plots
  • Leaders/Managers: Full access everywhere

📊 Nation Limits

  • Land Claims: 5 base + 1 per member (max 20)
  • Player Plots: 2 base + 1 per member (max 10)

📋 Essential Commands

  • /nation - View nation info and map of claimed land
  • /nation create <name> <color> - Create new nation
  • /claim <land|plot> - Claim land or plots
  • /unclaim - Remove claims

💡 Tips

  1. Choose a memorable name and distinctive color
  2. Recruit active members to increase limits
  3. Plan your territory strategically
  4. Join Discord for help and community
